An outstanding amboyna burl wood credenza with brass trim, made by Mastercraft in the 1960s. The cabinet has two sets of doors that open to reveal a set of 3 drawers on the left side and an adjustable shelf on the right. The design of the cabinet is attributed to William Doezema, one of the founders of the Mastercraft furniture company. As with many Mastercraft pieces, the credenza is distinguished by high quality construction and luxury materials. Amboyna burl wood is an expensive and exotic material and was not often used on furniture of this scale. The credenza has been restored with a lustrous waxed satin finish over a medium-dark amber stain. The brass moldings and decorative elements retain a wonderful patinated finish.

Condition
EXCELLENT, wear consistent with age and use

Measurements
