1970s Danish Rosewood Four-Door Sideboard by Skovby
A sleek and sophisticated rosewood four-door sideboard/credenza by Danish manufacturer, Skovby. C. 1970s. Each of the doors is veneered in identical book-matched rosewood, with the same matched graining on the sides and top surface. The credenza is lifted on a recessed plinth base that has recently been finished with a brass coating. The brass base gives the credenza an extra dose of glamour. One section of cabinet is fitted with five felt-lined drawers. The other three sections have adjustable glass shelves.
Skovby is known for its excellent and well-made dining room furniture and has been in business since 1933. The Skovby label is on the rear of the credenza.
