A Custom Framed 1950s Abstract Figural Lithograph by Kimo Martin

A Custom Framed 1950s Abstract Figural Lithograph by Kimo Martin
A strikingly inventive newly framed 1950's lithograph by California/New York/Hawaii artist, James Upton "Kimo" Martin (1918-2007). Martin is the son of famous Modernist artist, Charles James Martin, who was a professor to Georgia O'Keeffe. This fascinating lithograph presents an abstract but anthropomorphized character that has feet, a structural body and a small flag for a head! The eyes are wonderfully and bizarrely placed in the mid-section. The assemblage floats against a surreal and ethereal landscape adding to its mystery.
