Alligator Pear Wood Bowl by Contemporary American Artist Daniel Pollock
A solid alligator pear wood bowl by contemporary American artist Daniel Pollock. Dan hand-selected this sculptural piece of reclaimed pear wood that has been carved and dried, creating a natural organic fissure. This sculptural piece evokes a Japanese aesthetic in its color and execution and it into devotion to the beauty of natural materials. As with all of Dan's pieces, the wood is placed in an oven at 400 degrees, then stained and finished with a clear coat for protection. The piece is signed and dated by the artist on the underside. (CA-2).
