A ceramic crucible from the 1960s that was used to melt glass at very high temperatures. The interior retains a "pool" of the melted glass remnants that appear as cracked ice and formed during the cooling process. These crucibles were originally used as utilitarian and industrial items but which now possess an inherent beauty as an object.
