"Danse de Luciote" is an abstract acrylic on canvas painting by contemporary American artist Ken Joaquin. The painting is saturated with a variety of red tones, into which the artist has created abstracted shapes using a sgraffito technique. He has filled-in some of the outlines and allows these shapes to expressively dance across canvas in a nod to Modernist painters Joan Miro and Paul Klee. Framed by the artist with a thin simple wooden molding, it is signed on the lower right with an additional signature and title on the verso.
