Eames Limited Edition Herman Miller Rosewood Screen, circa 1996
Herman Miller 1996 special edition Eames rosewood screen. This a very low #7 of the edition of 500. See label attached to front of screen. The best rosewood was used in the lower # pieces of the edition. This screen is being sold by its original owner and in super excellent condition with only a few slight wear marks where the screen meets the floor. This screen comes from a significant Mid-Century Modernism collector. Originally designed in 1946, this iconic piece of midcentury furniture stopped being produced in rosewood in 1989. Herman Miller found a batch of rosewood sitting on their shelf and decided to use it for this now famous re-issue of 1996. There was only enough rosewood to make 500 screens and they will never be made again in this material.
