An ebony-stained solid cedar wood cocktail table with a convex top, by contemporary American artist Daniel Pollock. Dan hand-selected this sculptural piece of reclaimed cedar that has been dried and then carved to highlight its graining and to create the top detail. The wood is placed in an oven at 400 degrees, then stained and finished with a clear coat for protection. The piece is signed and dated by the artist on the underside. The table can also be used as an ottoman with a cushion on top. (CA-15)
