A "cubist" inspired, multi level, aluminum and steel wall mounted sculpture titled JOY by Karo Martirosyan. Signed and dated on the reverse. The white powder coated back structure (see images) is built to hold photo printed aluminum tiles. The pattern is consistent but broken down into many layers from front to back. This creates a fascinating dynamic in which the overall pattern is continuous but transformed by the dimensional layout which provides a play of light and shadow across this multi-tiered surface of swirling color.
