A vintage American lizard skin covered chess table, made by Karl Springer, circa 1986. The top of the table has three sections that are edged in brass. When the centre section is removed, it reveals a chess/checkerboard and one of the felt-lined side compartments is storage for games pieces. The table retains the leather label on the bottom with the Springer signature and date of 1986.
