"Hivaro" is an original wall-mounted, gilt and silver leafed sculpture by the innovative New York artist William Bowie. Bowie's showroom was on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and he was an early, important Pioneer (along side Harry Bertoia) in the use of welded Industrial materials, raised to the level of abstract contemporary art. The last image shows a 1960s advertisement of the William Bowie Sculpture Studio and documents the "Hivaro" sculpture in the upper left.
