"Regina" Opaque White Glass Lamp by Bobo Piccoli for Fontana Arte, circa 1968
An exceedingly rare opaque white glass lamp designed in 1968 by Bobo Piccoli (1927-1981) for Fontana Arte. Titled "Regina" ("Queen" in Latin), this lamp is inspired by a chess piece scaled up to a surreal size. Signed on the two-way switch “Fontana Arte” In three parts. Use LED candelabra bulbs to illuminate. Condition is excellent with minor vintage wear to the metal base.
Note: the color of the lamp is very white and shows slightly darker in most of the photos.
