A solid pinewood taboret/table by contemporary American artist Daniel Pollock. Dan hand-selected this sculptural piece of reclaimed pine wood that has been dried, stained and carved to highlighting the wood grain grain. This sculptural piece evokes a Japanese aesthetic in its color, execution and devotion to the beauty of natural materials. As with all of Dan's pieces, the wood is placed in an oven at 400 degrees, then stained and finished with a clear coat for protection. The piece is signed and dated by the artist on the underside.
