A chic set of 4 French Art Modern period cerused oak armchairs from the 1940s. This set exudes quality and sophistication without any over-adornment to the minimalist design. The shield-shaped back of the chair has a low-rise, with the seat being both wide and deep. The set has been newly reupholstered in a textural woven fabric, using the original springs in the seat cushion. The cerused finish is also original.
