A large-scaled glazed ceramic vessel by American Master Darcy Badiali, 2015.  This impressive work of art was fired in the kiln at Cal State Fullerton. This particular vessel is redolent of the amazing pottery of the American Southwest and Mexico with the additional twist of Darcy's abstract glossy over-glazing. His works of wheel thrown large stoneware vessels are inspired by nature, creating a powerful and highly textured sculptural presence. Darcy Badiali was born in Fresno, California. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Kansas City Art Institute, Kansas City, Missouri. During his tenure at Kansas City Art Institute he served as a studio assistant to Ken Ferguson. Badiali received his Masters of Fine Arts degree at Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona where he worked with Kurt Weiser. Badiali’s work has been shown throughout the United States and can be found in the permanent collections of Sam and Alfreda Maloof Foundation for the Arts, Alta Loma, CA, American Museum of Ceramic Art, Los Angeles, CA, Kathryn H.
