Italian Sofa with Channeled Leather Upholstery Attributed to Fabio Lenci C. 1969

A glass-sided sofa with channeled leather upholstery attributed to Italian designer Fabio Lenci C. 1969. The glass sides are secured with wood and enameled steel struts that end in circular walnut caps. The upholstered section is cradled and secured to the struts. This sofa, the coordinating chair and coffee table were originally purchased in 1969 and have been acquired from the original owner's home in Palm Desert, California. The chair and coffee table are shown in the last two pictures and are available in separate listings.

Dimensions: L. 80” D. 36” H. 28.5” seat height 17.5”

There is one small nick on the top of one of the glass sides and chipping around one of the screw holes that is hidden by the wooden cap. The enameled metal struts show some signs of distressing. The bottom of the glass sides is in unmarred condition
