"The Strad", a contemporary, lyrical, sculptural rendition of a 1674 Stradivarius Cello by American artist Ron Graziano. Mr. Graziano is a Cello player as well as a sculptor, so this project is particularly near and dear to him. Ron carefully studied the details, dimensions and angles of the vintage Stradivarius Cello as he designed this homage to an instrument that he loves. The scroll head is faithfully rendered as is the shoulder, peg box, fingerboard, crib, belly, sound holes and tail piece. The tail piece and the fingerboard are backed with a discreet row of led lights that help the piece to glow and visually float in a darkened room (please see the last photo). There is a switch attached to the wire so that this function can be operated at will. This sculpture can also be disconnected from its base and wall-mounted. Please specify this if you are interested so that Mr. Graziano can prepare wall mounts.

Dimensions: H. 55” W. 22” D. 15”
