What fabulously interesting chairs! These chairs are styled after traditional western club chairs with their high armrests and broad comfortable back. But the Yoruba interpretation of this chair is ceaselessly fascinating. These chairs are distinguished by the fact that they are covered from top to bottom in what has to be a million tiny glass beads strung together and stitch adhered to the surfaces in a totally whimsical almost "Pennsylvania Dutch" floral pattern! These chairs are just too much fun! They are also quite comfortable. The Yoruba people are the largest African tribe and are centered in South-West Nigeria.
