A striking post-modern inspired console table designed by J. Wade Beam for the American furniture manufacturing company Brueton. The "Maidda" table was available in a variety of finishes and materials and this particular table is a combination of black marble, polished steel and lacquered ribbon mahogany. Like all items manufactured by Brueton, the Maidda table is a feat of engineering and features a combination of high quality materials. This table was acquired from a home in Rancho Mirage, California and it was placed there in 1980. The original owners have kept it in remarkable condition and there is only one small area of repair on the back of the console top.
