An ebony-stained solid cedar wood cocktail table by contemporary American artist Daniel Pollock. The artist has named this particular piece "a river runs through it" referencing the hand-carved chasm that bisects the top. Dan hand-selected this sculptural piece of reclaimed cedar that has been dried and then carved to highlight its graining and to create the top detail. The wood is placed in an oven at 400 degrees, then stained and finished with a clear coat for protection. The piece is signed and dated by the artist on the underside.
